How to cut ceramic kiln post?

I received a ceramic kiln post from a friend tonight. It is 6"long, almost
triangular in cross section with added mass at each corner forming a
cylinder of ceramic material along each edge (so there is not a sharp corner
on the post), and with a small hole down the center. I need 3" posts. What
type masonry, diamond or other saw blade should I use to cut this post into
two parts? Any things I should watch out for? Do you cut under a
waterspray?

Thanks

Hale:

You can get ceramic posts in all sorts of lengths from your local clay
store. No need to cut up the one you have.

If your local clay store isn't local email me and I will send you the phone
number of one here in Portland, Oregon that can ship you some of these
handy items.

A normal concrete cutting disk in a angle grinder will be fine , with
water even better

these kiln posts are so darn cheap not worth the hassle to cut - you will
probably need several different heights as you progress anyway.
