Does any one have any idea on what to use to fix a concrete statue with concrete? Can I use waterplug cement to fill in the deteriorated concrete, and what type of paint to use? I have various animals that are deteriorating and would like to fix them and paint them over. any help would be greatly appreciated.

We use the water plug cement we buy at Menards. It also works for fixing cracked pieces. Clean the pieces with a wire brush to get all the loose paint and mold off. Rinse real good to make sure it is clean. You can paint them with any good exterior paint. We use Sherman Williams and Dutch Boy paint. We also prime them first with a good primer from Sherman Williams. Because of the age of the items you can skip this step if you wish.
