My daughter surprised me with two lovely concrete lions that she picked up at an auction to flank my walkway. I would like to remove the peeling paint from them and repaint them. What would be the best method for removing the old paint (peeling in some areas, not in others) without harming the concrete? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you have access to a sand blaster that will work real good, otherwise a wire brush.
