You can make your own jel based antiquing stain by mixing 1/2 acrylic paint and half of the retarder. Other uses are slowing the drying time of acrylic paint. Can be mixed into the paint or dip brush into it before dipping it in paint. The more you add the longer the drying time is. Great for swirling and blending different colors together.
